I built a recording studio for Garden Street Academy over the summer of 2014 which opened that same fall. I couldn’t find recall sheets for some of our microphone preamps so made my own using Graphic (formerly known as iDraw).
The recall sheets have an area for basic session info like artist, track title, date, engineer, studio, and notes as well as boxes to add outputs and input info for each channel. I’ve also created “blank” recall sheets that only have the diagram of the gear. Use the blank sheet to paste the drawing into your own graphics editor and create your own session info block.

If you’re looking for more recall sheets, Barry Rudolph and Teaboy Audio have a bunch of PDF sheets for download.
A special plug for James Bakker at Custom Analog Services. He assembles the CAPI kits for those of us with less-than-stellar soldering skills. We ordered four VP312 and four VP28 preamps from him, and it saved me a ton of time and headaches. We’ve been using them mostly on drums and they sound amazing.
